About the Maker

Hello, I'm Sherrie- the founder and maker behind Latherela.

As a healthcare professional, caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do. Soapmaking began as a creative outlet, but it quickly grew into a passion that let me combine science, artistry, and craftsmanship into something meaningful.

Some of my most rewarding moments have come from watching the people I love genuinely enjoy what I make. My mom eagerly waits for every new batch to finish curing. My husband Philippe reached for the charcoal bar I made him - and never went back to what he used before.

Every Latherela soap is handcrafted in small batches with a carefully measured superfat level, so nourishing oils and butters remain in the finished bar - leaving skin feeling soft, comforted, and cared for.

Inspired by my Filipino heritage and a deep belief that self-care matters at every stage of life, my hope is that every bar brings a small moment of luxury to your day.
