Our Story

What began as curiosity quickly became a passion.

As a healthcare professional, I’ve dedicated my career to caring for others. Soapmaking offered a creative outlet where I could blend artistry, craftsmanship, and thoughtfully chosen ingredients into something meaningful and beautiful.

Latherela was born from a desire to create products that nurture both skin and spirit-products that encourage us to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Why Superfat?

At Latherela, every recipe is carefully formulated with a precisely measured superfat level. During the soapmaking process, a calculated portion of nourishing oils and butters is intentionally left unsaponified, allowing these skin-loving ingredients to remain in the finished bar.

This thoughtful balance creates a soap that cleanses effectively while delivering a rich, creamy lather and a luxurious feel on the skin. The result is a bathing experience that leaves skin feeling soft, comforted, and cared for - not stripped or tight.

Because mature skin often benefits from gentle cleansing and added nourishment, our carefully measured superfat levels are an important part of what makes Latherela soaps feel so indulgent. Each formulation is thoughtfully crafted to balance cleansing performance, lather quality, longevity, and skin comfort.
